The Accelerating Change for Social Inclusion (ASCI) programme of Upsocial is promotiong YouRock in Barcelona with a range of partners and other complemetary porjects and programmes.
The USAID Connecting Mekong through Education and Training (USAID COMET) project (MekongSkills2Work) in partnership with YouRock is providing a skills assessment platform for youth across Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam, increasing youth employability in the Lower Mekong Sub-Region.
The initial development of YouRock was initially sponsored by Liberty Global PLC, world’s largest international TV and broadband company with operations in more than 30 countries across Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean. YouRock is working in partnership with AllDigital. AllDigital is a network supporting European public ICT learning centers (also called “telecentres”) in municipalities, NGOs, libraries and education venues by fostering knowledge sharing and learning among its members to increase the effectiveness of centres in helping people with employability and digital empowerment.
The telecentre networks join forces each year for Get Online Week. Get Online Week is an annual digital empowerment campaign that engages people to use technology and the Internet with confidence and obtain skills allowing them to benefit from online opportunities.
YouRock is a pledge to the European Commission Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition, an initiative to gather ICT industry partners with a common aim to create digital jobs and job opportunities for Europeans.
